Dressed as royalty, Imran and Kats

Against the backdrop of the most immaculate monument dedicated to love, Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan dressed up as Salim and Anarkali to shoot for their film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

The duo dressed up as royals while shooting the Yashraj film at Taj Mahal in Agra. Katrina also fed grapes to Imran Khan.

In the film, Katrina is the would-be bride of Imran’s brother, played by Ali Zafar. But the duo falls for each other, despite not wanting to.

Good Bye to another eligible bachelor, Zaheer Khan

India’s highest wicket taker of the Cricket World Cup, Zaheer Khan, is all set to tie the knot with his long time girlfriend Isha Sharvani, an actress from Bollywood.

We hear that Khan’s proud parents were insistent on getting Zaheer married. Like an obedient son, Khan has agreed to it.

Buzz in the industry is that the couple plans to tie the knot this year. A source close to the couple said, “Ever since they gave their relationship a second shot, they have come even closer than before. Wedding bells are in the offing.”

Zaheer and Isha’s love is said to have only grown stronger after hitting a bump. The two first got friendly way back in 2005 when Isha performed at an event. They kept bumping into each other at parties and social dos and eventually led a strong relationship for two years. But cracks began to appear in 2007 when the two decided to separate.

However, In 2008, the duo gave their relationship a second chance. This time things worked out and the two have been together since then.

While Zaheer is busy with the ongoing IPL season, Isha simply said, “I really don’t want to comment on this.”

'Dostana 2' without Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra who catapulted into super stardom with Dostana, will not be seen in its sequel.
Though there have been rumours about PC being roped in for a special role in Dostana 2, the actress has denied being part of the film.

“I am not part of `Dostana 2′. I was never doing Dostana two…reason being my love story ends in the first film…so where is the question. This was cleared some 2 years ago,” she said on micro-blogging site twitter.

However, the actress might make a cameo appearance in the film.

She says, “when it comes to a special appearance or something, that’s a much later call,” Priyanka said.

Tarun Mansukhani revealed that Dostana sequel is on and the final script is yet to be completed. The film will be produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Katrina Kaif.

'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' poster is copied from a Hollywood film

‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ poster is copied from 2005 Hollywood flick Lords of Dogtown. When the poster was out, people couldn’t stop raving about Hrithik Roshan’s hot body and the way the poster looked but now, after learning that the poster has no originality, it has come a a big disappointment to many.

Something very similar happend with the movie Anjaana Anjaani. It can be recalled that the makers of Anjaana Anjaani had to withdraw the first poster of the film as it was a direct lift from the Oscar nominated 2009 film An Education.

Priyanka Chopra makes Ranbir Kapoor an object of redicule

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are currently shooting for Anurag Basu’s ‘Burfi’.

It is heard that RK is upset with PC for poking fun at his several linkups and his Casanova image. Though, PC made the comments in a light mood, RK was hurt and this has in turn hurt their friendship.

A source reveals, “Ranbir and Priyanka aren’t paired opposite each other. In fact it’s B-Town debutante Ileana who is his romantic interest in Burfi. Piggy Chops plays the second woman in his life. And since the actor has worked with her in Anjaana Anjaani, there was a level of comfort. Apparently, PC was cracking people up at RK and the ‘new’ girl’s expense.”

The source adds, “RK was upset that Priyanka was joking about his string of affairs. Since he hasn’t shot with Ileana, he didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable. He confronted PC and told her not to promote any loose talk.”

After Deepika and Katrina, RK has been linked to his Rockstar co-star Nargis Fakhri.

We just hope, this time he is not linked to his Burfi co star Ileana.

So he wants to be careful about any linkups. And the baggage he carries after the comments that Sonam Kapoor and former flame Deepika Padukone made about him on Karan Johar’s chat show.

Shahid Kapoor is Bollywood's Sexiest Vegetarian

Shahid Kapoor is sexy and he is a vegetarian. Shahid appears with chicks in the new ad for PETA. He has been voted as Bollywood’s sexiest vegetarian by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

The new PETA ad has Shahid Kapoor holding two downy chick on the palms of his hands. The punchline in the ad reads: “Chicks Love A Vegetarian”.

“I love chicks…pigs, cows, fish, and all the other animals too. That’s why I turned vegetarian,” Shahid is quoted as saying.

The promo shows Shahid, 30, dressed in a white buttoned down dress shirt with sleeves casually rolled up, holding two chicks on his palm.

The ad, that repeatedly focuses on Shahid’s unshaven chest, was shot by Atul Kasbekar.

Shahid has been vegetarian for many years and was adjudged PETA India’s Sexiest Vegetarian in 2009.

“I am very happy being a vegetarian and I believe that it is the best way to be. The day I started believing in the fact that I would want not to kill animals for my taste buds that is the day everything changed for me,” Shahid said.

What's Nargis doing in Ayaan's shirt???

Nargis is spotted walking out of a theatre with her friend Ayaan Mukerji. She is seen a checked shirt that Ayaan had worn earlier at an event.

Ever since Nargis has been roped in for Rockstar, the makers of the film have been over protective about her. She is not allowed to hang out with anyone but either Ranbir Kapoor or Ayaan.

Maybe, the girl is not even allowed to go shopping. No wonder she has to borrow shirts from young director.

Krrish 3' finds its Villian

Vivek Oberoi has bagged the negative role in the Rakesh Roshan’s much-awaited Krrish 3.

According to a source, “Rakesh Roshan has not directed a single film in the last five years.

Initially, he was keen to have an outside director and had even approached Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to direct the film.
However, the filmmaker later decided to take charge himself. And he wanted a strong character to play the negative lead.
There were various names being considered including the likes of Shah Rukh Khan. But Vivek Oberoi has bagged the role.
The role has been kept under wraps as the dialogues of the film are still being penned, though the screenplay is ready.”

The source further added, “There have been various rumours floating in the industry about the casting of the film.

The fact is that none of them have been signed yet. Talks are still on with a lot of actors as the film is scheduled to go on the floors in October this year.”

Vivek is yet to sign on the dotted lines.

Salman will finally kiss on screen

After a long 22 year career, Salman Khan has finally decided to do a lip lock scene. The superstar, in order to maintain a family image, always avoided locking lips with his co-stars. But now, things have changed. He will be seen smooching co-star Asin in Anees Bazmee’s upcoming film, Ready.

“It is not yet decided if it will be a long, passionate kiss or a short peck, but director Bazmee has managed to convince Salman that the scene is important to the script. Salman had initially refused to give the shot and it took some talking on Bazmee’s part to convince him,” said a source in the unit of the film.
Initially, Sallu was reluctant, when the director cane up with this idea. However, the actor has finally agreed.

Not just Salman but Asin too has always maintained a traditional image as an actress down South, as also in Ghajini and London Dreams, the two Bollywood films she has done so far. But now, the actress has decided to shed her so called “traditional image”. It is heard that she is willing to don a bikini in Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2.

We can only wait till the flick is out….

Director Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ also stars Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin and is slated to release on 24th June.

I Want Gulzarji to write poems for me:Katrina

She is definitely one of the most beautiful women in the Hindi Film industry. However, no one has ever written a love poem for Katrina, she believes that love is the only beautiful thing in the world. The actress wishes that Gulzar saab would write one for her.

Recently at the launch of Pritish Nandy’s book ‘Love Poems’ she says, “Nobody has ever written a poem for me. But if actually someone writes a poem for me, I think that will be very romantic.”

She was looking her best in an off-white knee length dress, Katrina, 26, surprised everyone present there saying, “I want Gulzar saab to write poems for me.”

Gulzar, 74, has written many poetry books and innumerable songs, was also present at the event. He said, “Inshallah, I would write a poem for Katrina for sure.”

The entire event was about love poems, and it was obvious that everyone wanted to know Katrina’s views on love and romance. The actress obliged everybody by sharing her views.

“Even though love is known to entail pain, disillusionment, disappointment, still I don’t want to be pessimistic about love. I would rather want to have a positive approach to love. I believe that there can be a happy ending, because love is the most beautiful thing in the world,” said Katrina.

When media asked her about her Valentine’s Day plan she said, “No plans, I will be working on that day.”

Vidya Balan starrer 'Dirty Picture' gets dirtier

Vidya Balan will represent Indian sensuality at its best in ‘A Dirty Picture’ where she will revive the sex-appeal of Silk Smitha.

Vidya Balan’s role in director Milan Luthria’s film ‘Dirty Picture’ gets dirtier. This is going to be the boldest flick she has ever done and will get the boldest makeover she could ever imagine.

Vidya Balan will be seen in various sexy outfits like hot pants, low necklines, translucent tube tops and petticoats. This is just a trailer. Vidya also has to put on weight to look chubby and curvier for the latter part of her role. She will be required to bare her mid-riff, thighs and cleavage.

As per reports, Vidya Balan has told the director that all her outfits need to reach at least 30 days before she starts shooting, so that she can try and get comfortable in them.

Ekta Kapoor’s production Dirty Picture will recreate the the magic that was created by Silk Smitha, the voluptuous South siren in the 80s and 90s.

Director Milan Luthria was not surprised by Vidya’s demand. He states very clearly that Vidya needs to get a lot bolder in expressing her sexuality in the role.

SRK:'If Salman is upset with me,then it is my fault'

Karan Johar completely broke down when SRK started speaking about his former friends Farah Khan and Salman Khan. The episode of Koffee with Karan will air on January 2.

A source on the sets says, “SRK’s episode with KJo is emotional where Shahrukh Khan has been caught in a mellow, introspective mood. He is emotionally vulnerable, revelaing things that have hurt him in the last year.”

The source continued to add, “When Karan pointed out people feel that old friends Farah Khan and Salman have problems with Shahrukh Khan, SRK said, ‘I don’t know how to make friends and if I did and I have no clue how to keep them. If Salman and Farah are upset with me then it is 100 percent my fault, but I can’t pick up the phone and say sorry. I cannot apologize because I have ego issues, but because I cannot say get myself to ask people to come back to me. Once I did ask my parents to come back to me and they did not.”

He also admitted that one of his biggest enemies is his cell phone as many of his friends have complained that he does not take their calls and ignores them. At one point Karan had tears in his eyes when SRK said, “I feel it is understood that I love them if I have said it once, I cannot keep repeating it. I have some problem in saying ‘I Love You’ twice and thrice and keep repeating those words. Even in my movies I can never keep saying ‘I Love You!’”

KJo said, “It was totally a different cup of coffee this time. it is really awkward to discuss and recreate all those intimate scenes normally again. Till date I have never become emotional on the sets of Koffee with Karan, because that has never been the tone of the show. It is usually controversial and spicy.”

When asked about SRK on the couch he says, “SRK is one of the warmest human beings I have seen in this industry, he has spoken openly about his family, friends and relationships. There is some strength in what he said. He is beyond any kind of issues. You can feel that he has risen above every situation and this comes beautifully through this show. This coffee on the couch episode with SRK was emotionally unplugged and more than humor unplugged. It has a new impact!”

Priyanka made Kareena wait

On Friday evening, Kareena Kapoor drove down all the way from Pune to Mumbai for shooting her televised act for an award ceremony. What should have ended in a few hours took them forever, thanks to Priyanka Chopra.

Bebo finished with her make-up and hair and arrived on the stage to see that it was already occupied by Priyanka Chopra. She had to wait for four hours before she could actually shoot her performance.

A source present at the awards revealed, “Kareena landed at Yash Raj Studios around midnight; she found that the stage was occupied by Priyanka. She waited patiently for sometime. On spotting her, PC came down from the stage and told her that she could not give the stage until 1 am (although Kareena was assigned the stage at 12 am).”

PC continued to rehearse till 4 am, by that time, the exhausted Kareena had left for home.

The next morning, Kareena asked her manager Zahid to cancel the shooting (with Salman for Bodyguard), which was scheduled on Saturday in Pune and then came back to the studio to finish her song.

Normally, the fiery Bebo would have flared up because she was kept waiting for more than four hours. Although, she was smarting with humiliation, she maintained her cool. Later, she gave a call to the organizers and gave her piece.

They explained it to her that because of some technical problems, Priyanka’s act took a longer time.

PC’s spokesperson said, “Priyanka was not aware that Bebo had to wait for hours. Not that I am aware of. Priyanka had a long act with many changes.”

Bebo remained unavailable for comment.

Salman Khan sports his personal bodyguard 's uniform in 'Bodyguard'

No designer wear, no jazzy clothes. Salman Khan has chosen to wear the same uniform that the employees of his personal bodyguard Shera’s security agency wear, for his forthcoming film “Bodyguard”.A source close to the actor says that there were many agencies that were vying to get Salman to wear the uniform of their company and offered him upto Rs. 7 crore to endorse their brand, but the star refused.

Atul Agnihotri, producer of “Bodygaurd” confirmed this, saying: “We have been getting calls from various security agencies from the day we announced the film. However, Salman, bhai is absolutely clear that he wouldn’t wear any agency’s uniform. Shera is his personal bodyguard he is close too and has used his name as a tag.”

“Bodyguard” will his third film to be released during Eid (in August) after “Wanted” (2009) and “Dabangg” (2010).

Ameesha denies romance rumours with Yuvraj

MUMBAI: Yuvraj Singh, who won Man of the Tournament at the 2011 Cricket World Cup, had India and Bollywood cheering him along, all the way at the finals in Mumbai on April 2.
And there was one Tinsel town voice that rang out loud and clear in the ICC reserved box at the Wankhede Stadium — that of Ameesha Patel, who was Yuvraj’s special guest at the final match against Sri Lanka.
Ameesha has admitted that she received a special invitation from Yuvraj, who is a very close friend of hers. She has also said that she was cheering the loudest for him in the special box whose other occupants included Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

Salman Khan's 'Ready'to release June 3

After creating a 'dhamaal' with 'Dabangg', Bollywood star Salman Khan is set to entertain moviegoers with his romantic comedy "Ready", which is arriving on screens June 3.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film once again brings Salman and Asin Thottumkal together after box office dud " London Dreams".

"Ready" also reunites producer Bhushan Kumar with Salman after "Lucky - No Time For Love". An interesting mix of action and comedy, the film is described as a complete entertainer.
