Kohli fined after pleading guilty

An update on what the Aussie media has dubbed 'Fingergate': Virat Kohli has been fined 50 percent of his match fee for raising his middle finger to the crowd yesterday. Kohli pleaded guilty to the charges. Kohli's gesture also brought him an open letter from a fan:
...talent alone does not make a man. Class, humility, and respect make a man – and time and again, you have proven yourself to be an insolent child.

The action has hopefully made him realise that whatever the abuse or provocation may be from the crowd, it's best to focus on the game at hand and let your performance do the talking.
